The vehicles in question include model year 2020 through 2025 RXV Freedom and 2023 through 2025 Valor PTVs with specific serial number ranges, as well as model year 2020 through 2022 TXT Freedom and Valor PTVs. These vehicles, often referred to as golf carts or golf cars, are primarily used for transporting people. The hazard stems from a potential fuel leak at the quick-connect fitting where the fuel line attaches to the engine’s fuel injector. This leak creates a risk of fire. Consumers are strongly advised to immediately cease using the recalled vehicles until they have been inspected and, if necessary, repaired.
Owners of the affected E-Z-GO PTVs can contact Textron E-Z-GO toll-free at 888-438-3946, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET. Alternatively, consumers can reach out via email at ezgowarranty@textron.com or visit the company’s website at https://ezgo.txtsv.com/personal/owners/recall-information or https://ezgo.txtsv.com and navigate to the “Recall Information” section under the “Owners” tab. Textron E-Z-GO is offering a free inspection of the vehicles. If any signs of fuel leakage are detected, an authorized dealer will perform a free repair by replacing the fuel line. For consumers who are unable to transport their PTV to an authorized dealer for inspection or repair, Textron E-Z-GO or an authorized dealer can provide assistance. The recalled vehicles were sold at Textron dealerships and distributors nationwide from September 2019 through June 2025, with prices ranging from $8,400 to $14,000.
No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.
