The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued warnings urging consumers to immediately cease using HolyBase and TreeCute infant walkers due to significant safety concerns. According to the CPSC, these products violate mandatory safety standards for infant walkers and present a substantial risk of serious injury or death. The identified hazards include the walkers’ ability to pass through standard doorways, their failure to halt at the edge of stairs, and leg openings that can allow a child to slip down, potentially entrapping their head.

Approximately 2,800 HolyBase infant walkers were sold online via Amazon.com between June 2025 and September 2025, with prices ranging from $60 to $130. The CPSC notes that these walkers may have also been available from other online sellers and on different websites. The HolyBase walkers are described as collapsible units with a round base, six wheels, nine adjustable height settings, and a push handle. They were offered in black, green, pink, and white, with “Model No: BW001” printed on a label beneath the seat. The manufacturer is listed as being in China, and the seller doing business as HolyBase is identified as Guchengxianmiantuantuanshangmaoshanghanggerenduzi, also based in China. The CPSC has issued a Notice of Violation to the seller, but HolyBase has not agreed to a recall or offered any remedy to consumers.

Similarly, around 1,240 TreeCute infant walkers were sold through Amazon from May 2025 to September 2025 for between $70 and $100. These may also have been sold through other platforms. The TreeCute walkers share similar characteristics with the HolyBase models, featuring a collapsible design with a round base, six wheels, nine height adjustments, and a push handle. They were available in black, green, pink, and white, and a label under the seat indicates “Model No: RV001.” These walkers were also manufactured in China. The CPSC issued a Notice of Violation to Shenzhenzhiyizhuangshigongchengyouxiangongsi, doing business as TreeCute, also located in China. This seller has not responded to the CPSC’s requests for a recall or consumer remedy.

Consumers are strongly advised to stop using these infant walkers immediately and to dispose of them safely. The CPSC also prohibits the sale or donation of these hazardous products. Individuals who have experienced a safety incident involving these products or have identified a product defect are encouraged to report it to the CPSC at http://www.SaferProducts.gov.

The CPSC is dedicated to protecting the public from unreasonable risks associated with consumer products. Consumers can stay informed about product safety by visiting CPSC.gov, signing up for email alerts, and following the agency on various social media platforms. Reporting dangerous products or injuries on SaferProducts.gov is a crucial step in helping the CPSC identify and address safety issues.
