The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a stark warning to consumers regarding Vndueey Magnet Men Toy Sets, urging immediate cessation of their use due to a significant risk of severe injury or death. The agency’s alert stems from violations of mandatory toy safety standards, specifically concerning the strength and size of magnets embedded within the toy figures. These magnets can detach and, if ingested by children, pose a life-threatening hazard within the digestive system.

The CPSC has identified that the magnets within the Magnet Men toy sets are small enough to fit into the commission’s small parts cylinder, a standard measure for potential choking hazards. More critically, these magnets are stated to be stronger than permitted by federal regulations for toys. The danger arises when multiple magnets are swallowed; they can attract each other or other metallic objects, becoming lodged and causing serious internal damage. Such complications can include perforations of the intestinal tract, twisting or blockage of the bowels, dangerous infections, and potentially, death.
The online seller identified as responsible for distributing these hazardous toys is Shanghai Zhidi Network Technology Co., Ltd., which operates under the online name Vndueey. The CPSC has issued a Notice of Violation to this entity, based in China. However, Vndueey has not yet agreed to initiate a recall of the Magnet Men Toy Sets or offer any form of remedy to consumers who may have purchased the product.
These toy sets were available for purchase online, primarily through Amazon, from October 2023 through August 2025, with a retail price of approximately $25. It is also possible that the products were sold through other online platforms. The specific product in question consists of 10-piece sets featuring flexible, person-shaped figures. They are packaged in clear containers and come in a variety of colors, including red, orange, pink, yellow, blue, bright red, bright green, and transparent. Each of the figures contains magnets in both its hands and feet.
The CPSC strongly advises all consumers to immediately stop using these Magnet Men Toy Sets. Parents and guardians are instructed to remove the toys from children’s possession and dispose of them safely. Furthermore, the commission explicitly states that these hazardous toy sets should not be sold or given away to others. Consumers who experience any incidents involving injury or product defects related to this or other consumer products are encouraged to report them to the CPSC via its SaferProducts.gov website.
