Approximately 66,000 tabletop fire pits sold at Five Below stores and online are being recalled due to a risk of serious burn injuries from flame jetting and fire hazards. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), alcohol fuel can splash or leak from the fire pit’s reservoir during use or ignition. This can cause a flash fire that spreads, creating larger and hotter flames that may escape the unit, posing a significant danger to consumers.

The recall encompasses two distinct models of tabletop fire pits. One model features a smooth black base, and the other has a beveled gray base. Both units include a stainless-steel fuel cup, a lid, and a flame cover. The smooth black fire pits were sold in blue, yellow, and white packaging, with “Tabletop Fire Pit” printed on the front and UPC 1922343012788 and tracking number FO031124 on the back. The beveled gray fire pits were packaged in green boxes with “Outdoor,” “Easy Modern,” and “Cement Tabletop Firepit” printed on the front, and feature UPC 1922346316838 and tracking number FO011925 on the back. These products were available nationwide at Five Below locations and on the retailer’s website, fivebelow.com, from April 2024 through August 2025. The purchase price ranged from $2.50 to $5.
Consumers are urged to immediately cease using these recalled tabletop fire pits. Five Below is offering a full refund for the purchase price, which is between $2.50 and $5. To receive a refund, consumers can contact Five Below toll-free at 844-452-3569 between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. Alternatively, consumers can email Recalls@FiveBelow.com or visit the company’s website at fivebelow.com and navigate to the “Product Recalls” section. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment, which could include cash or store credit if the fire pit is returned. For those who cannot return the product, Five Below is also accepting a photo of the fire pit with the consumer’s name and date written on the product in permanent marker as proof for a refund via check or store credit. Proof of purchase, such as a receipt, is not required for a full refund. Consumers are advised to dispose of the recalled fire pits safely. While Five Below has received one report of flames escaping a tabletop fire pit, no injuries have been reported in connection with this hazard.
The importer of the recalled products is 1616 Holdings Inc., based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the retailer is Five Below Inc., also located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The products were manufactured in China.
