According to information presented in court, officers were granted entry into the home by the resident. Upon entering, they discovered Arnold asleep with a handgun situated nearby. Following his apprehension, a subsequent search of the premises led to the discovery and seizure of a backpack containing ammunition. Arnold’s prior convictions for assault and grand larceny render him legally prohibited from owning firearms.
