The investigation began on August 26, 2025, when undercover detectives were engaged in proactive enforcement in an area known for drug activity. During this operation, approximately 10 grams of cocaine and $1,094 in cash were recovered, leading to Scott’s initial arrest. The quantity of both the seized drugs and currency suggested possession with intent to distribute, as well as ongoing distribution. Further intelligence gathered by detectives linked Scott to additional illicit activities. This led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence located in the 500 block of Ellrose Court in Frederick, Maryland. The subsequent search yielded a more substantial seizure, including approximately 91 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $10,000, multiple Oxycodone pills, and $15,000 in cash.

On September 12, 2025, Scott was formally indicted by the Frederick County Grand Jury. He is currently being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. The charges against Scott include multiple counts related to possession with intent to distribute cocaine and oxycodone, attempted distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine and oxycodone, possession of drug paraphernalia including a digital scale, and attempting to destroy or conceal physical evidence. Notably, several charges specify intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone. This operation highlights the collaborative efforts of local law enforcement agencies in combating drug distribution and its impact on the community.
