The recalled products are AR-15 Chamber Lock Pro firearm locks manufactured by StopBox USA, located in Spokane Valley, Washington. These devices are made from anodized aluminum and feature five buttons, with the StopBox “S” logo and “CHAMBER LOCK PRO AR-15” laser etched on the back. They were sold in red and black. Consumers can identify if their product is affected by checking the shipping date, which can be obtained by contacting StopBox USA. The affected products were sold directly by StopBox USA, both in-store and online, as well as through dealers nationwide during the specified shipping period. The retail price was approximately $150.

Consumers who have purchased these recalled chamber locks are urged to immediately cease using them and to secure their firearms through alternative means. StopBox USA is offering a remedy for affected customers, which includes a full refund or a replacement AR-15 Chamber Lock Pro. The hazard identified with these locks is a manufacturing defect that allows the device to be forcibly removed.
