The indictment accuses Printus of tampering with a sprinkler system on or around June 25, 2025, resulting in significant water damage to ICE’s local office space. The U.S. Attorney’s Office noted that the charges stem from a federal investigation conducted by ICE personnel. While specific details about the extent of the damage or motive were not disclosed, the damage was reportedly in excess of $1,000, qualifying it as a felony offense under federal law.
If convicted, Printus faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, one year of supervised release, a fine, and a special assessment. However, the U.S. Attorney’s Office emphasized that indictments are only allegations, and the accused remains presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
