Tieriq Pinnix, 32, was indicted on June 18 by a federal grand jury for possessing an FNH 9mm handgun and ammunition on March 6 in York County, despite being legally prohibited from owning firearms due to past convictions. His arrest stems from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Northern York Regional Police, and York Police Department.

The indictment is part of the Department of Justice’s Operation Take Back America, a national initiative aimed at dismantling drug cartels, reducing violent crime, and enhancing community safety through collaborative enforcement efforts. As the case proceeds, Pinnix remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
