Thousands of consumers who purchased Crayan mattresses through Amazon are being urged to stop using the product immediately following a major recall over serious fire safety concerns. Approximately 100,000 units are affected after the mattresses were found to violate federal flammability standards, potentially placing users at risk of injury or death in the event of a fire.

The recall, issued on June 18, 2025, applies to both 10-inch and 12-inch single-sided Crayan mattresses sold between July 2022 and June 2024. These mattresses were available exclusively online and came in Twin, Full, Queen, and King sizes. Identifiable by a white quilted top and “Crayan” printed on a gray side panel, they were compressed in boxes for delivery and include a sewn-in white label indicating size, fiber content, and “WG/P Foundation.”

Consumers who own one of the recalled mattresses are advised to discontinue use right away. To obtain a full refund, they must mark the top panel of the mattress with the word “Recalled” in large letters, take a photo of the marked product, and email it to the manufacturer at crayan_service@hotmail.com. Crayan is proactively contacting all known purchasers.
