The agenda includes both old and new business items, with a primary focus on the introduction and potential approval of several legislative measures. Among the key items is Resolution 2025-06, which seeks to amend the town’s charter regarding the roles of the president and vice-president of the council. The proposed amendment clarifies that the mayor will serve as council president and outlines conditions under which the mayor may vote. It also provides for the election of a vice-president who would assume mayoral duties if the mayor is temporarily or permanently unavailable.

Also under consideration are two new ordinances: Ordinance 2025-04, which would establish FY26 sewer and water rates, and Ordinance 2025-05, covering FY26 budgets for the general, sewer, and water funds. These proposals are critical to funding town operations and maintaining infrastructure for the coming fiscal year.
