Leon Rading Co. Ltd. has issued a recall of approximately 2,016 digital wall clocks sold exclusively through Amazon.com due to serious safety concerns. The recall centers on a lithium coin battery located in the product’s remote control, which can be easily accessed by children, posing a significant ingestion hazard. The affected product, model number PH-05, does not meet federal safety regulations and lacks mandatory warning labels as required under Reese’s Law.

The recalled wall clocks are black, rectangular devices sold with a black remote control featuring nine buttons. A yellow label on the back of the clock displays a support email, and the packaging identifies the product with “MODEL: PH-05.” The products were available for purchase online between November 2024 and January 2025 for approximately $23. Though no injuries have been reported, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has flagged the risk due to the lack of child-resistant battery compartments and missing warning information.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the remote control, remove and safely dispose of the lithium battery following local hazardous waste procedures, and mark the remote with “RECALLED” in permanent marker. To receive a full refund, consumers should submit a photo of the disposed remote to recall@lianaocoltd.com. Both Leon Rading and Amazon are reaching out directly to all known purchasers.
