According to recall information, the toy contains high-powered magnets that can detach and be swallowed. If more than one magnet is ingested, they may attract each other through internal body tissues, potentially causing intestinal damage, infection, or fatal complications. Although no injuries have been reported to date, the product fails to meet federal magnet safety standards.
The toy resembles a pill capsule and separates into two magnetic halves — one white and one red with a textured surface. Packaged in a mock prescription bottle labeled “3DPrint Bumpy,” the toy is marketed as a sensory device that makes a clacking sound when the magnets connect. The interchangeable magnets are compatible with other fidget toys made by the same company.

Consumers are urged to stop using the toy immediately and keep it away from children. Refunds are being offered through the company, which is also providing prepaid return labels and disposal instructions. FidgetThings, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, is directly contacting known purchasers to facilitate the recall process.
