We know you value local news and entertainment that is free, open, and independent. Producing high-quality, paywall-free content isn't free. It takes time, effort, and resources to keep you informed and entertained. Unlike corporate media, we don’t have deep-pocketed investors or big advertisers funding our work—we rely on you, our readers and listeners, to keep Radio Free Hub City running. The training center will provide year-round, hands-on instruction for plumbing employees at all stages, including apprentices, junior mechanics, and seasoned Journeymen and Master plumbers. The facility focuses on smaller class sizes to ensure effective skills training and personalized instruction. Topics range from technical fundamentals to advanced techniques, aligning with the company’s goal of enhancing workforce capabilities and maintaining high industry standards.
In addition to employee training, the center offers custom educational sessions for clients’ maintenance staff to address specific facility requirements. Initial course offerings include water heater installation and diagnostics, pump systems, gas training, pipe joining, and snaking techniques. Plans are already in place to expand the center’s footprint into neighboring warehouse space to accommodate future growth.
