CBP officers identified the suspects by cross-referencing flight passenger manifests with the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database. Fingerprints, passport numbers, and state-issued IDs were used to confirm identities before detaining individuals. After arrest, those taken into custody were handed over to local, county, or state law enforcement agencies for further legal processing.
The arrests underscore CBP’s efforts to collaborate with law enforcement to apprehend fugitives and ensure they are brought to justice. The NCIC serves as a vital tool for sharing warrant data across agencies, supporting CBP’s mission of national security at both borders and internal checkpoints.
