Nutritional Fundamentals for Health (NFH) has recalled approximately 17,660 bottles of its Iron SAP, Heme Iron SAP, and Prenatal SAP dietary supplements due to a violation of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA). The recalled products lack child-resistant packaging, posing a poisoning risk if ingested by young children. The recall was issued on March 27, 2025, and applies to various lot numbers and expiration dates.

The recalled supplements include Iron SAP Iron Glycinate in 60 and 120-capsule bottles, Heme Iron SAP Superior Absorption in 60-capsule bottles, and Prenatal SAP Multivitamin in 180-capsule bottles. The bottles are white with the “NFH” brand name and a blue leaf logo. Consumers can identify the recalled products by checking the lot codes and expiration dates located on the bottom of the bottles.
No injuries or incidents related to the recall have been reported. The affected supplements were sold at naturopathic and homeopathic clinics, A Woman’s Time, Doctor Supplement stores, and online at WholescriptsInc.com and Natural Partners (Fullscript.com) between March 2022 and December 2024. Prices for the products ranged from $20 to $95, depending on the size and type.
