Maryland State Police have arrested three individuals in connection with an alleged assault and kidnapping incident that took place in Harford County on March 10, 2025. Authorities responded to reports of a man running down Conowingo Road in Darlington with his hands bound behind his back, leading to an investigation that identified three suspects now facing multiple charges.

The suspects, Chris Lamar Cochran, 48, Grace Elizabeth Amanda Johnson, 38, and Leland Charles Lewis, 48, all residents of Darlington, Maryland, face various charges. Cochran has been charged with kidnapping, first- and second-degree assault, and false imprisonment. Johnson faces charges of first- and second-degree assault, as well as false imprisonment. Lewis has been charged with false imprisonment, first- and second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.

Upon responding to the scene at approximately 8:20 a.m., Maryland State Police troopers learned from the victim that he had been assaulted and held against his will before managing to escape. The victim was flown to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for medical evaluation. Investigators subsequently identified the three suspects, leading to their arrests.
