Two 17-year-olds from New Mexico were arrested by U.S. Border Patrol agents near Palominas, Arizona, on March 1 for allegedly smuggling three Mexican nationals into the United States. The teens were stopped in a black Dodge Ram pickup after surveillance operators observed suspicious activity in a known smuggling area. During the inspection, agents found three men attempting to hide in the vehicle’s backseat.
