A social media creator previously arrested in Charles County last week has been taken into custody again in St. Mary’s County on similar charges, as investigators continue to examine potential connections to additional incidents in Calvert County. Jackson was arrested without incident and is currently being held at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He has been charged with second-degree arson, second-degree malicious burning, malicious destruction of property, and making a false 911 call. Investigators from the Office of the State Fire Marshal linked him to a fire set on February 14, 2025, at a vacant home on Maddox Road in Chaptico. Authorities found that Jackson had initially reported the fire to emergency services.
In addition to the arson case, officials determined that Jackson had made a false 911 call late last year, reporting a fictitious motor vehicle accident on Three Notch Road in Hollywood. The call was allegedly intended to create an opportunity for Jackson to film emergency responders and subsequently monetize the footage on his social media platforms.
