SuperATV has issued a recall for approximately 10,700 carrier bearings designed for Polaris RZR XP Turbo and Turbo S recreational off-highway vehicles (ROVs) due to a potential fire and burn hazard. The recalled bearings, when installed in these vehicles, may allow the drive shaft to contact an expanded fuel tank, which can lead to fuel leakage and an increased risk of fire.

The recall affects three SuperATV carrier bearing models—BEA01-001, BEA01-002, and BEA01-005 (Rev A00 and A01)—sold between April 2017 and September 2022. These bearings were available for purchase online at SuperATV’s website and through off-road vehicle dealers nationwide. The affected models are identifiable by the “SuperATV” engraving on the carrier bearing housing. Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled bearings immediately and remove them from their vehicles.
SuperATV has reported 24 incidents where the fuel tank made contact with the drive shaft, resulting in 19 cases of tank damage, including one reported fire. No injuries have been reported. Consumers can register online to receive a prepaid shipping label to return the recalled parts. Upon receipt, SuperATV will send free replacement carrier bearings to affected customers.
