According to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO), Sullivan, who was employed as an Athletic Director at James Wood High School, allegedly sent explicit photos of himself to a 17-year-old FCPS student from Ross Township, Pennsylvania. Sullivan faces charges under Virginia Code 18.2-374.3(D) for using a communications device to transmit sexually explicit visual material to a minor.
The investigation began on February 13, 2025, when FCPS officials were informed that Sullivan had sent a naked picture, including his exposed penis, to a James Wood student via a popular social media application. The school authorities promptly notified the FCSO School Safety Division, leading to a criminal investigation. Authorities claim that evidence gathered during the investigation revealed that Sullivan had sent at least two self-produced nude images to the student between November 2024 and January 2025. According to authorities, these photos were taken and shared outside of school premises and after school hours.
