BlockBlueLight has issued a recall for approximately 1,280 Multi-Mode Sleep Lamps due to the risk of fire and burns caused by overheating lithium-ion batteries. The recall, announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on February 13, 2025, advises consumers to immediately stop using the product and seek a refund, store credit, or a replacement lamp from the company.

The affected lamps, identified by model number BBL-MM-LAMP, feature three color modes—Noblue Amber, Sunset Mixed, and Twilight Red—and were sold online at BlockBlueLight’s website between December 2023 and November 2024 for approximately $80. No incidents or injuries related to the overheating issue have been reported at this time.
