The carriers fail to meet structural integrity and occupant retention standards, posing a potential fall hazard for infants. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall on February 6, 2025, urging consumers to stop using the product immediately.

The affected sling carriers, identified by style number 0007-66 on the label, feature white plastic buckles, adjustable straps, and mesh fabric. They were available in green, gray, and pink and sold between July 2023 and September 2024 at prices ranging from $7 to $15. While no injuries or incidents have been reported, the CPSC advises consumers to take a photo of the carrier, cut it into pieces, and submit the image to Sunkids Factory via email or Temu.com to receive a full refund.
