Tapentadol, classified as a Schedule II narcotic, is a powerful opioid known for its high potential for addiction and abuse. It can cause a range of side effects, including nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness, and may lead to serious health complications such as respiratory depression and serotonin syndrome. The drug is often sought for its euphoric effects, making it a target for illicit distribution.
