Firefighters from the Shaft Fire Department and nearby units responded to a blaze at 11205 Upper Georges Creek Road in Frostburg on October 13, 2024. A passerby had reported smoke coming from the residence around 1:15 p.m. Crews worked for nearly ten minutes to bring the fire under control.
