The brewery, led by owners Jake and David Blackmon, combines in-house craft beer with spirits and cocktails crafted by its sister company, Church Street Distillery. Formerly operators of Smoketown Brewing Station, the Blackmons bring extensive experience to this venture, which they describe as a first-of-its-kind experience for Hagerstown. Drinks are prepared with fresh, hand-juiced ingredients and syrups made in-house, offering a distinctive twist on the craft beverage scene.
Hub City Brewery is located in a repurposed farmers market building that retains much of its original charm. The renovation introduces a refreshed aesthetic and new energy to the space, designed to attract both local residents and tourists. The project represents a significant investment in the revitalization of downtown Hagerstown, with the owners expressing their commitment to enhancing the city’s vibrant business community.
