Police responded to the scene after being informed by Doylestown authorities that the victim was hospitalized with a gunshot wound. The victim stated the shooting occurred at Munoz’s residence on Evans Street. Upon arriving at the scene, police interviewed Munoz, who admitted to retrieving a revolver from her safe during an argument with her boyfriend. She concealed the weapon in her jacket pocket before confronting him again, during which she allegedly fired a shot at his back as he fled, striking him in the leg.
Officers executed a search warrant on the property later that evening, recovering a revolver-style handgun with four live rounds and one spent casing. Munoz was taken into custody and arraigned before District Justice Chris O’Neill. She is being held at Bucks County Prison on 10% of a $200,000 bail.
