The fire was discovered by a passerby who promptly alerted the authorities. The Potomac Valley Fire Company responded to the call with a team of three firefighters. Upon arrival, the firefighters were able to bring the fire under control within five minutes. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities reported as a result of this incident.

The estimated loss due to the fire is approximately $5,000, limited to the vehicle itself. The fire appears to have originated from the interior of the vehicle.
