Boil Water Advisory for Boonsboro

BOONSBORO, MD News (8/4/2023) – The BOIL WATER ADVISORY NOTICE that was in effect today, Monday, August 7 until Tuesday, August 8 has been cancelled! The dive at the reservoir has been postponed until Monday August 14, 2023. An alert regarding the postponed dive and boil advisory will be released later this week. The Town will be sending a Scuba dive team to conduct a leak survey at the drinking water reservoir on Boonsboro Mountain Road as part of the reservoir replacement project. Over the 24-hour period the Town is asking customers to boil their water for 3 minutes before drinking or to buy bottled water.
