HAGERSTOWN, MD News (3/9/2023) – The National Weather Service has released a forecast that Hagerstown and the surrounding area should expect snow Friday morning. This snow will turn to rain as the day goes on.

Tonight: Increasing clouds, with a low around 31. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph.

Friday: Snow before 10am, then snow, possibly mixed with rain between 10am and 1pm, then rain after 1pm. High near 40. Southeast wind 5 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Friday Night: Rain likely before 1am, then a chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. South wind 8 to 17 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
