Area residents should expect mixed precipitation. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze in portions of north central Maryland, northwest and western Virginia and eastern West Virginia.

A Freeze Watch is in effect for parts of Virginia and West Virginia late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Frost may impact the rest of the area late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
