Berkeley County, West Virginia, is looking to sell two parcels of county-owned property to private buyers. According to information released by the Berkeley County Commission, interested parties have until the end of September to submit their offers. The county is seeking to divest itself of these landholdings, opening the door for private development or use.
One of the properties is a 4.25-acre parcel located near 3095 Cannon Hill Road in the Hedgesville area. The minimum acceptable bid for this land is 8,100. The second parcel available for purchase is a .600-acre lot situated at the intersection of Land Back Lane and Nestle Quarry Road, across from 1521 Nestle Quarry Road. The starting bid for this smaller parcel has been set at 1,650. Residents interested in acquiring either of these county-owned properties must submit their offers by 4 p.m. on September 30.
