Robey was indicted by a Washington County Grand Jury on charges including three counts of first-degree murder, arson, and robbery, along with other offenses. He was arrested on Monday, May 18, 2026, by Maryland State Troopers at a business in Hagerstown. During the apprehension, an AR-style pistol was discovered and seized from Robey, who is currently being held without bond. This latest arrest brings the total number of individuals charged in connection with the deaths of Brittany Ray, 31, Harold Fliechman, 36, and Brianna Mae Weishaar, 25, all of Clear Spring, to seven individuals. The victims were discovered on November 18, 2025, after emergency services responded to a house fire at a residence located in the 13,000 block of National Pike in Clear Spring.
The incident initially came to the attention of authorities shortly after 5:00 a.m. on November 18, 2025, when deputies from the Office of the State Fire Marshal were dispatched to the Clear Spring residence following a report of a fatal structure fire. During their preliminary assessment of the scene, investigators uncovered indications of foul play. These findings included K-9 alerts for accelerants, suggesting the presence of substances used to intentionally start or spread the fire, and evidence of trauma to the victims that did not appear consistent with injuries sustained from a fire. The Maryland State Police Homicide Unit assumed lead responsibility for the subsequent investigation.
Maryland State Police investigators have indicated that they anticipate further arrests as the investigation progresses. The public is urged to contact the Maryland State Police Hagerstown Barrack at 301-766-3800 if they possess any information pertinent to this case. Such calls can be made confidentially.
