The recalled vehicles are identified by their model names, “OUTLANDER PRO,” displayed on the front side, and “Can-Am” branding on the rear fender. The specific model year can be determined by the 10th character of the 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), where P indicates 2023, R signifies 2024, S denotes 2025, and T represents 2026. The VIN label is located on the front right side of the vehicle’s frame, with the VIN also stamped on the front member on the right side. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has noted one reported incident where a speed limiter failure caused sudden acceleration, resulting in the ATV flipping and the rider sustaining minor injuries including scrapes and bruises.
