Approximately 174,800 Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery, and Frigidaire Professional gas ranges are being recalled due to a potential burn hazard, according to a recall announcement from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The ovens in the affected units may experience a delayed ignition of the bake burner, which poses a risk of burns to consumers.

The recall encompasses specific models within the serial number range of VF52200000 through VF54399999. Affected models include FCFG3083AS, FCRG3083AD, FCRG3083AS, GCFG3060BD, GCFG3060BF, GCFG3070BF, GCRG3060BD, GCRG3060BF, PCFG3080AF, FCFG3062AB, FCFG3062AS, FCFG3062AW, FCRG3051BB, FCRG3051BS, FCRG3051BW, FCRG3052BB, FCRG3052BS, FCRG3052BW, FCRG3062AB, FCRG3062AS, FCRG3062AW, FCRG306LAF, and GCFG3059BF. Consumers can find the model and serial numbers on a nameplate located in the drawer beneath the oven. These ranges were sold nationwide and online at Frigidaire.com, as well as through retailers such as Lowe’s and The Home Depot, from June 2025 through January 2026. The sale price ranged from $630 to $2,700.
Electrolux Group, the manufacturer, is offering a free repair for affected consumers. The company will arrange for professional in-home installation of a new bake burner at no cost. While awaiting repair, consumers are advised to stop using the ovens but can continue to use the cooktop burners on the range. To arrange for the repair, consumers can contact Electrolux Group toll-free at 866-291-7633 between 8:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. They can also reach out via email at gasovenburnerrecall@electrolux.com or visit http://www.GasOvenBurnerRecall.com or http://www.frigidaire.com and click on “Recall Information.” About 5,300 of the recalled units were also sold in Canada.
So far, Electrolux Group and the CPSC are aware of 62 reports detailing the oven’s bake burner delayed ignition. These reports include 30 instances of burn injuries. This recall is a proactive measure to ensure consumer safety and prevent further incidents.
