The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a critical warning, urging consumers to immediately cease using TooyBing Wooden Toys due to a severe choking hazard. The Montessori-style bead toys, designed for children under three years of age, have been found to violate the federal small parts ban. The small beads themselves constitute a dangerous choking risk, potentially leading to serious injury or death.

The CPSC has issued a Notice of Violation to Equiature LLC, operating under the business name “01451” and located in Denver, Colorado. As of the warning’s release, the company has not agreed to a recall of the product or offered any form of remedy to consumers. These toys were available for purchase online at Shein.com between July 2025 and September 2025, with a retail price of approximately $20. It is also possible that these hazardous toys have been distributed and sold through various other third-party sellers and on additional websites.
The specific product in question is described as a multicolored wooden toy set. It contains 25 small wooden beads in a variety of colors, including pink, blue, red, orange, purple, green, white, and yellow. The set also includes two wooden sticks with attached yellow and red laces, eight pattern cards, and a wooden pegged stand. Product packaging is marked with the names “TooyBing,” “Montessori Wooden Toy,” and “Fun Bead Sequencing Games” on the front, while the model number “TB-MZWJ” is printed on the back. The toys were manufactured in China.
Consumers who have purchased these TooyBing Wooden Toys are strongly advised to stop using them immediately and to dispose of them safely. The CPSC emphasizes that these hazardous toys should not be sold or given away to others. For consumers who have experienced a safety incident involving this product or any other product defect, reporting is encouraged through the CPSC’s SaferProducts.gov website.
