The individuals apprehended have been identified as Imari Jackson, 22, of Hurlock, Maryland, and Aamad Turner, 19, of Easton, Maryland. Additionally, two juveniles, aged 15 and 17, from Hurlock and Cordova, Maryland, respectively, were taken into custody. The 17-year-old is being prosecuted as an adult. Jackson, Turner, and the 17-year-old face charges that include home invasion, first-degree burglary, armed robbery, and first-degree assault, among other related offenses. They have been transported to the Talbot County Detention Center and are awaiting their initial court appearances. The 15-year-old is currently being held at a Juvenile Detention Facility.

The investigation into the August 13, 2025 incident began when troopers from the Maryland State Police Easton Barrack responded to the Trappe residence. Due to the severity of the crime, the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division Eastern Region took over the case. Preliminary findings indicated that four armed individuals forcibly entered the home and absconded with property belonging to the occupants.

During the subsequent investigation, authorities were able to identify Jackson, Turner, and the two juveniles as the suspects involved. Early on the day of the arrests, law enforcement executed search and seizure warrants at four residences. These operations led to the recovery of three firearms, ammunition, and a quantity of the stolen property. The Maryland State Police Special Tactical Assault Team Element, Easton Barrack, Maryland Natural Resources Police Tactical Response Team, Dorchester County Sheriff’s Tactical and Response Team, Easton Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, Talbot County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, and the Hurlock Police Department provided assistance during the investigation and apprehension efforts. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
