This popular event provides a chance for local dogs to socialize and play in the water together. To ensure the safety and health of all participants, several requirements are in place. Dogs must be at least six months old, possess a legal license, and be up-to-date on their vaccinations. They should also wear their visible dog license during the event. For added security, all exits will be gated, and veterinary staff will be present on-site as a precautionary measure. Attendees are encouraged to bring a water dish for their pets, though water will be provided.
Participation in the dog swim is limited, and pre-registration is mandatory, as walk-up registrations will not be accepted. Each person is permitted to bring a maximum of two dogs.
