The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Noah Lee Craddock, a 33-year-old Harrisburg resident, has been sentenced to 71 months in federal prison. The conviction stems from his unlawful possession of a firearm, a violation of federal law prohibiting felons from possessing firearms. United States District Judge Jennifer P. Wilson imposed the sentence on August 12, 2025.

The case originated in November 2020 when Pennsylvania State Police initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle driven by Craddock on Interstate 83 in Harrisburg. During the stop, law enforcement officers discovered a 9mm Glock pistol and a loaded magazine within the vehicle. This incident led to Craddock’s arrest and subsequent federal prosecution.

This prosecution is part of “Operation Take Back America,” a broader national initiative by the Department of Justice aimed at addressing violent crime and related issues. The operation consolidates resources from various Department of Justice task forces, including the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETFs) and Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), to combat criminal organizations and protect communities. The investigation into Craddock’s firearm possession was a collaborative effort between the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Pennsylvania State Police. Assistant United States Attorney Carlo D. Marchioli handled the prosecution of the case.
