Tarlecki entered her guilty plea before Chief U.S. District Judge Matthew W. Brann and now faces a maximum sentence of 35 years in federal prison along with potential fines and supervised release. The court will consider federal sentencing guidelines before issuing a final judgment. The Internal Revenue Service led the investigation, and the case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Geoffrey MacArthur.
