The initiative, involving the Chambersburg Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, and the Franklin County Drug Task Force, aimed to crack down on unlawful activity and reinforce community safety.

Throughout the day, officers conducted 36 traffic stops within the borough, issuing numerous citations and warnings. One individual was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, authorities successfully served four outstanding arrest warrants during the operation, further highlighting the joint effort’s effectiveness.
Officials emphasized that these directed patrols are part of ongoing efforts to deter criminal behavior and protect residents. The police department expressed appreciation for public support and highlighted the seamless collaboration between participating agencies.
