Tennessee will receive $36.9 million for permanent repairs related to multiple severe weather events, including tornadoes and flooding. Among the hardest-hit locations was Chattanooga, where an F-3 tornado destroyed the buildings of Grace Baptist Church and Academy, which serve around 600 students. The funding will assist with rebuilding efforts in affected Hamilton County communities.
California was allocated $14.2 million to support emergency protective measures taken by the Cross Creek Flood Control District in response to a series of severe winter storms that triggered flooding, mudslides, and landslides. These funds aim to bolster the district’s capacity to manage future extreme weather events.

Texas will receive $35 million directed to the state’s Department of State Health Services to cover management costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. This funding is designated to support ongoing public health operations and resource allocation tied to pandemic response efforts.
