Two residents of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, have been sentenced for their involvement in a large-scale drug trafficking operation that distributed methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin across three counties in the state’s Eastern Panhandle. The case marks a continued effort by federal and local authorities to dismantle organized drug distribution networks in the region.

Andrew Ross Hose, 40, received a sentence of 293 months in federal prison for his central role in the operation. Following his release, he will be under supervised release for five years. Bradley Allen Lopp, 36, was sentenced to 24 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Court records indicate that both individuals participated in the distribution of controlled substances through a drug trafficking organization operating in Berkeley, Morgan, and Hampshire Counties.
The Potomac Highlands Drug Task Force, supported by High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) funds, led the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Lara Omps-Botteicher prosecuted the case. The sentences were handed down by U.S. District Judge Gina M. Groh.

The convictions are part of Operation Take Back America, a Department of Justice initiative targeting illegal drug networks and transnational criminal organizations. The operation coordinates federal resources through programs such as the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces and Project Safe Neighborhoods to address drug-related and violent crime in communities nationwide.
