The recall includes multiple RTV-series models, including the RTV520, RTV-X900, RTV-X1100C, RTV-X1120, RTV-X1130, and RTV-X1140. Affected vehicles were sold between January 2021 and December 2024 through authorized Kubota dealers across the United States, with prices ranging from $11,000 to $27,000. The utility vehicles were manufactured in the U.S. and distributed by the company based in Grapevine, Texas.
Kubota has received four reports of the ball joint loosening or detaching, though no injuries have been reported so far. The defect poses a serious crash hazard, prompting the recall as a precautionary measure. Vehicle owners are advised to stop using the affected models immediately.
