A Harrisburg man has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison after being convicted on charges related to drug trafficking and illegal firearm possession. The sentence stems from a 2020 incident in which law enforcement officers responded to a report of an armed individual at a local rooming house.

According to court records, on February 17, 2020, police arrived at the scene and observed 46-year-old Antoine Manning exiting the residence and discarding an object, which was later recovered and identified as a loaded Sig Sauer semiautomatic pistol. After detaining Manning, officers discovered cocaine, a digital scale bearing white powder residue, a cell phone, and a small amount of cash in his possession.
Manning was later charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. He was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Jennifer P. Wilson to a total of 15 years of incarceration following his conviction on both counts.

The investigation was led by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in coordination with the Harrisburg Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Scalera.
