The recall affects various models produced between February 26 and March 31, 2025, including multiple configurations of the Apex AAPT series and Remote RMT models. Affected units were identified based on employment records tied to a specific period during which a new employee began work at the manufacturing plant. All 69 units are estimated to have the defect.
Forest River identified the issue on March 31, 2025, after the manufacturing plant discovered inconsistent wiring between the solar controller and the battery. The matter was escalated through the company’s Corporate Compliance channels and led to an official recall decision on April 4, 2025. The defect causes the solar charging system to potentially fail, which could serve as the only warning sign before more severe outcomes occur.
