Luv n’ care has announced a recall of approximately 33,600 Nuby Stroller Fans due to a laceration injury hazard. The fan’s housing design allows small children to access the blades, posing a risk of injury. The recall, issued on March 6, 2025, advises consumers to stop using the product immediately and contact the company for a free replacement.

The recalled Nuby Stroller Fans feature three speeds, adjustable tripod legs, and a rechargeable USB port. The fans, intended for use with babies and toddlers, have black plastic blades with the Nuby logo on the front. The affected units can be identified by lot number N8K10X and model number 25138, which are printed on a white label on the back of the fan. The fans were sold at Baby Express, Burlington Coat Factory, Target, Unique Photo stores, and online at Amazon.com and us.nuby.com from May to June 2024, retailing for about $15.
Luv n’ care has received seven reports of incidents where children’s fingers made contact with the fan blades, leading to six injuries involving lacerations. Consumers can reach the company through its hotline, email, or website for further information and to arrange for a product return and replacement. The fans were manufactured in China and imported by Luv n’ care, based in Monroe, Louisiana.
