Border Patrol agents in the Del Rio Sector recently arrested three individuals attempting to enter the United States illegally near Carrizo Springs, Texas. One of the men, 30-year-old Refugio Juarez-Argote of Mexico, had been previously deported in 2013 and now faces charges for reentry after deportation under 8 USC § 1326.

On February 27, agents responded to a tip from U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations about three individuals walking on a local ranch. The group was found with carpet attached to the bottoms of their shoes, a tactic used to conceal their tracks. Border Patrol agents, trained in tracking methods, quickly apprehended the group and transported them to the Carrizo Springs Border Patrol Station for processing.
