Border Patrol agents in the Del Rio Sector recently arrested three individuals attempting to enter the United States illegally near Carrizo Springs, Texas. On February 27, agents responded to a tip from U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations about three individuals walking on a local ranch. The group was found with carpet attached to the bottoms of their shoes, a tactic used to conceal their tracks. Border Patrol agents, trained in tracking methods, quickly apprehended the group and transported them to the Carrizo Springs Border Patrol Station for processing.
