The Quaker Oats Company has issued a recall for select two-pound boxes of Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix due to the presence of undeclared milk. The recall follows notification from a retail partner, and consumers with milk allergies or severe sensitivities are advised not to consume the product as it may pose a serious health risk.

The affected product was distributed in 11 states, including Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Utah, and Wisconsin. Consumers may have purchased the mix as early as November 18, 2024. No reports of allergic reactions have been received as of now, and no other Pearl Milling Company products are involved in the recall.

The recalled pancake and waffle mix is packaged in a cardboard box with a “BBD SEP 13 25 P” code printed on the top panel. The UPC for the affected product is 30000 65040. Consumers with a milk allergy should discard the product immediately. Quaker has informed the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the recall.
