The proposed development, which spans approximately 5.97 acres, is currently a mix of farmland and wooded areas with a high-voltage power line running through it. The site is located on the north side of Shepherdstown Pike, near but not adjacent to Wheeler Road. If approved, the lodge and pavilion would serve the Boonsboro-based Red Men Tribe #155, providing meeting space and associated facilities.

Members of the public and interested parties will have the opportunity to provide input on the proposal during the hearing, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Keedysville Town Hall.
